Ingredients List  

5 lbs Briess pale malt
2 lbs DWC biscuit malt
1 lbs DWC crystal 50
1 lbs flaked barley
1 oz Hallertau (4.8% alpha, 60 minutes)
0.5 oz Pride of Ringwood (8% alpha, 40 minutes)
0.5 oz Pride of Ringwood (8% alpha, 15 minutes)
1 oz Keng Goldings (6% alpha, 13 days)
1 tbs yeast nutrient
1 tsp Irish moss
SSC English Ale yeast

Brewing Notes  

Single infusion mash, 7 hours (while at work) at 150 degrees. Treated mash water with 1 teaspoon Burton salts. Sparge with 4 gallons 168 degree water treated with 1 teaspoon lactic acid. 90 minutes boil.

Fermentation Notes  

Fermented in glass at 72 degrees for 11 days. Secondary 2 weeks at 72 degrees.
